Duo Remote is an application designed as a remote control for the iPad teleprompter application "Prompter Duo."

All functionalities within the play mode of "Prompter Duo" can be managed through this wireless remote control. The device operates via Wi-Fi communication without any additional communication fees.

To set up, enable Wi-Fi on both your iPad and iPhone, then initiate the application in a paired state. Once paired, devices will automatically connect in subsequent uses, simplifying the setup process.

Utilizing your smartphone's Wi-Fi connectivity, Duo Remote establishes a direct connection between devices without requiring access to an external network. This feature ensures seamless operation even without an active Wi-Fi connection while avoiding any communication expenses.

For optimal functionality, ensure that Prompter Duo Version 1.3.0 or later is installed before using this companion application.

Please note: If initial pairing for Wi-Fi communication encounters issues, closing and restarting the Prompter Duo app before attempting to pair again is recommended.

The supported operating system version is iOS 10 or higher, with an effective communication range of approximately 10m/30ft. Thanks to its omnidirectional design, Duo Remote can communicate with Prompter Duo effortlessly, even with obstacles in between.

This precise control tool offers functions such as play, pause, speed control, speed fine-tuning, scroll position display, cue point navigation, cue settings, and duration display.
